How much will I receive?
100% of your ADSC × 105 days for normal delivery. 120 days for solo parents. 60 days for miscarriage.
When should I notify SSS?
As early as possible — ideally before delivery. Employed members notify their employer within 60 days of pregnancy.
Is the benefit taxable?
No. Under the Expanded Maternity Leave Law (RA 11210), SSS maternity benefit is tax-exempt.
Can I still claim if I resigned before giving birth?
Yes, as long as you have the required contributions as a voluntary member.
How many times can I claim?
There is no limit on the number of pregnancies you can claim for, provided you meet the contribution requirements each time.
Can I claim even if I gave birth abroad?
Yes. Submit a medical certificate from a foreign doctor with an official English translation.
